Focus on Him

I write a lot about God’s purpose and vision for life because it’s one of those things that we all must keep in front of us on a daily basis. If you aren’t always analyzing and focusing on what your individual purpose is in this walk, then you’re basically walking aimlessly, either doing your own thing or not caring whether you’re being used by Him at all. Each day is an opportunity to align yourself with God’s overreaching purpose for humanity – bringing others closer to Him, showing His majesty and His love through every aspect of your life. Surely we cannot do this if we are selfish (not caring about anyone but ourselves), or distracted by things that don’t mean much, including gadgets, social media or whatever your vice may be. 

👀 David asked God to turn his eyes from worthless things (Psa. 119:37)- and if you desire to fulfill His plan for you, if you truly want to die empty having left everything you were meant to do as a legacy for someone else, as an ultimate response to the gifts and meaning God has instilled in your life before the foundation of the world, then it’s time to stop being selfish, get rid of the distractions, turn your eyes from worthless things, FOCUS on Him and watch Him ELEVATE you smack dab in the middle of His purpose for your life!
